Concealed Carry Fundamentals
Concealed Carry Course:
This 4-6 hour course will provide a student with a pre-existing understanding of firearms and marksmanship the additional skills and considerations required to carry a firearm for personal defense. Topics covered include drawing from concealment, movement, the dynamics of a defensive situation and a brief refresher of basic safety and function. Practical exercise will be done in the classroom with the aid of Snap caps, SIRT Laser Training Pistols and LASR Simulator software.
Required equipment: Proof of prior firearms training (NRA Basic Pistol, NRA First Steps, DD214, or other handgun training course) Handgun, 1 spare magazine (minimum), holster, overshirt for concealment, magazine carrier (optional), sturdy belt, full coverage shirt (to prevent brass from going down your shirt, trust me…you want to)
