Adult First Aid / CPR / AED
This course teaches students critical skills and knowledge needed to respond to and manage a first aid or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Content includes how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies, as well as perform CPR and use an AED. Course will cover Adult procedures only.
The certification is from the American Red Cross and is good for two years.
Course meets the needs of workplace responders, daycares, school staffs, educators, non-healthcare providers, fitness professionals as well as the general public.
We take our training seriously and skills are acquired by practicing them. This course focuses heavily on hands-on activities. Our course is a mix of audio/visual, a little bit of lecture, and a lot of hands on activities based on real life scenarios. In addition, the door will be open at any time in the future to come and audit the course. Also, you’ll be given contact information for us to reach out should at any point you need a refresher or just have questions.
